Posing a Character

EN One performer goes onto the stage and strikes a series of poses, varying facial expressions and body postures. When the caller sees a pose that looks particularly interesting, they yell "freeze." The performer stops and becomes the character they feel themselves to be in that position. The caller then interviews them, starting with general questions and moving to details specific to that character.

RU Один исполнитель выходит на сцену и принимает одну позу за другой, меняя выражение лица и положение тела. Как только ведущий видит особенно выразительную позу, он кричит «стоп». Исполнитель замирает и становится тем персонажем, которым ощущает себя в этом положении. Ведущий берёт интервью: сначала общие вопросы, потом — более конкретные, вытекающие из ответов.

1. One performer takes the stage and begins striking poses — experimenting with facial expressions and body postures.
2. The caller (workshop leader or a designated participant) watches and waits for a pose that looks especially interesting.
3. When the caller sees a compelling pose, they call out "freeze." The performer holds that position.
4. The performer commits to the character they feel themselves to be in that pose.
5. The caller asks questions as they would of any stranger: age, what they do for a living, where they're from.
6. Based on the answers, the caller moves on to questions more specific to that particular character.

1. Один исполнитель выходит на сцену и начинает принимать позы, экспериментируя с мимикой и положением тела.
2. Ведущий (тренер или назначенный участник) наблюдает и ждёт особенно выразительной позы.
3. Как только ведущий видит нужную позу, он кричит «стоп». Исполнитель замирает.
4. Исполнитель становится персонажем, которым ощущает себя в этой позе, и полностью в него вживается.
5. Ведущий задаёт вопросы, как при знакомстве с незнакомцем: возраст, род занятий, откуда родом.
6. На основании ответов ведущий переходит к вопросам, специфичным именно для этого персонажа.
