EN One performer is designated the director and sets up the environment: a theatrical situation that calls for an audition — a musical, a play, a local theater company, a Broadway production, or even a prison holiday show. Each of the remaining performers auditions for the role they feel suits them, introducing themselves, giving credentials, and performing whatever displays their talent. No matter how limited the character's actual ability, they should always try their best.

1. Choose a theatrical situation that requires an audition and designate one performer as the director.
2. The director sets up the context for the audience: what is being cast, what kind of production, and where.
3. The remaining performers wait off stage. They enter one at a time.
4. Each auditioner introduces themselves, states their credentials, and specifies the role they are suited for.
5. They perform their audition: a monologue, a song, a dance, playing the spoons — whatever displays their character's talent.
6. Whether the character is actually talented or not, they always try their best when auditioning.
7. Continue until all performers have auditioned.

1. Выберите театральную ситуацию, требующую прослушивания, и назначьте одного участника режиссёром.
2. Режиссёр объясняет аудитории контекст: на какую роль идёт отбор, что за постановка и где она проходит.
