EN This is a rhyming variation of the Alphabet scene. As in the base game, the players take turns and each successive line of dialogue begins with the next letter of the alphabet—the first line starts with "A," the next with "B," and so on until the final line begins with "Z." The added constraint is that each player's line rhymes with the line the other player says next, turning the dialogue into a chain of rhymed couplets.

1. Two players begin a scene with a simple situation or relationship.
2. The first player speaks a line that begins with "A."
3. The second player replies with a line that begins with "B" and rhymes with the first player's line.
4. The first player continues with a line beginning with "C" that rhymes with the line the partner just said—and the next reply (starting with "D") rhymes with it in turn.
5. Keep alternating up the alphabet, so consecutive lines form rhyming pairs while each new line carries the next letter.
6. Advance the scene with each line; the constraint serves the story, not the other way around.
7. The scene reaches its end on the line that begins with "Z."

EN This game is itself a variation of the basic Alphabet scene, in which lines simply run A through Z without the rhyme. A companion variation, Alphabet in Reverse, starts from "Z" and counts back down to "A." In Alphabet, Audience Suggestion, the first line begins with a letter called out by the audience instead of "A."
